Introduction 

Edison Youth is the heart of the community, uniting diverse and engaged stakeholders in support of the “Whole Child.” Children are not just doing activities, but learn in environments that make them feel safe, valued, engaged, challenged, healthy and connected. Because we reflect our community unique needs, Edison Youth Center gives all stakeholder (participants, families, community members and school administrators an equal voice in determining how best to serve our scholars. Edison Youth Center provides not only, tremendous opportunities for scholars to learn and succeed, but also offer opportunity and transformation to an entire community.

The main purpose of the EYC Family Engagement Programs is to engage
participants and their families with fun hands-on activities. To encourage: self-esteem, self-worth and a sense of responsibility through our three pillars of programming; Mentorship, The Arts and Mindfulness. For children ages 7 to 17 years old and their families particularly.

We’re enhancing the quality of life in our community; by offering programs that benefits the body and mind, offering group activities to help increase cohesion among members of the community.
